UNDERWATER ROUTE
If your resort was shaken by an earthquake, and then you went down into the dungeon, found a dwarf in trouble, and helped him, he would probably invite you to visit the Island of Dwarvendelf!
Moreover, our new friend turned out to be none other than the Dwarven King himself! To reach his city, you’ll need to travel by bathyscaphe. Everyone must pay for the ride — even the king! The fare is 60 silver and 10 emerald florins.
| 60 | 10 |
You can collect the required silver by breaking apart 20 silver deposits located near the bathyscaphe.
IN SEARCH OF GUIDING SPRINGS
King Thorman invites us to a grand feast, but while we were exploring the halls of Dwarvendelf and meeting dwarves, nether beasts emerged from the depths of the caves! The king has called an emergency meeting — the dwarves urgently need help from the golems!
To activate the golems, you’ll need light crystals, which can only be found in the forgotten mine. To reach it through the dungeons, you must follow the guiding springs.
Each of the two guiding springs requires 75 silver from the nearby silver deposits and 5 sapphire florins to activate.
| 75 | 5 |
On the way to the second guiding spring, we ran into cave weavers! Fortunately, they’re afraid of bright sparks, and Thorman can craft fireworks using the explosive mushrooms growing nearby.
To make a firework to drive away a group of cave weavers, you’ll need to give Thorman 25 spores of the explosive mushrooms and 2 emerald florins. There are 4 groups of cave weavers in total.
| 25x4 | 2x4 |
Reaching the third guiding spring proved even more difficult. Over the years, the cave passages had become blocked by stalactites. Fortunately, there’s an old forge in the caves, where you can craft pickaxes from iron ore.
This requires coordinated teamwork! Follow this plan:
- Find an iron ore deposit;
- Prepare Thorman by giving him 2 emerald florins and wait while he mines;
- When Thorman finishes mining, collect the ore;
- Use the ore in the forge to craft a pickaxe. Each pickaxe also requires 3 sapphire florins;
- Use a pickaxe to break the stalactites.
In total, you need to break 7 stalactites; to craft 7 pickaxes, you need to find 14 iron ore deposits.
| 2x14 | 10x14 | 3x7 |
When all the stalactites are broken, the final guiding spring lies right ahead. But then nether beasts appear again, and we must flee! To keep them from catching up, we’ll need to destroy the bridge behind us…
ON THE WAY TO THE FORGOTTEN MINE
Without the help of the guiding springs, we must find our way to the forgotten mine on our own. Along the way, we’ll need to repair two hanging bridges. For this, we’ll require planks and cobwebs.
Plenty of cobwebs can be found near the habitats of cave weavers. Don’t forget — you must first scare them away with fireworks made from explosive mushroom spores. In this part of the caves, there are two groups of cave weavers and a large solitary cave weaver. It can be spotted later in the cave, but it's best not to disturb it anymore! Let’s quickly repair the hanging bridges and cross the chasm.
| 60x2 | 5x2 |
So, we barely escaped the nether beasts and made our way past all the cave weavers when another inhabitant of the caves appeared — a real dragon! Thorman suddenly comes up with an idea to distract it. To do that, we need to catch some cave fish. They’re not easy to catch, so you’ll have to play a match-pair mini-game to collect 12 of them.
Each minigame requires 25 energy. If you don't catch a fish the first time around, you can try again.
While the dragon is distracted by the smell of freshly caught cave fish, we can start collecting light crystals in the forgotten cave. There are enough crystals in the cave to restore an entire army of golems! But a special spot in the cave is occupied by a stand holding a dragon egg, and it seems to have caught the attention of the giant gargoyle>. It’s time to prepare for the battle!
The dragoness appreciated our help. Moreover, she was not an enemy of the dwarves. Thorman's grandfather had once visited the forgotten mine and agreed that the dragoness, whose name is Valmiria, and the dwarves would not bother each other.
But now a dilemma has arisen: Valmiria needs warmth for her egg, and the dwarves need light crystals. Fortunately, the caves have other energy sources, like flamestones! They can be forged from gemstones, which are found in abundance in the nearby cave.
Collect 120 crystals of different colors and forge them into flamestones in the big lava lake:
BACK TO DWARVENDELF
After we've installed the flamestones into the stone pillars around the dragon egg, we can return to Dwarvendelf and activate the golems. In addition to the light crystals, each of the 5 golems requires 5 amethyst florins.
| 40x5 | 5x5 |
While we were busy activating the golems, nether beasts breached the gates! But now we have a powerful ally in the dragoness Valmiria! She will help us defeat all the beasts without a hitch. The battle is easily won, and the dwarves have learned the truth about the dragoness. Peace has now returned to Dwarvendelf, and we can enjoy the long-awaited feast!
Attention
Once you finish the battle with the nether beasts, the Island of Dwarvendelf will be available for 7 days, after which it will close forever.
Hint
While adventuring in the caves, be sure to explore the items around you, such as torches, groups of fireflies, dwarven braziers, and others:
